AT8035
Line + Gradient Condenser Microphone, 369mm
AT8035
very precise sound recording, even in noisy environments
The AT8035 is ideal for videos and movies but should be installed outside of the image, in other words, out of camera range. This type of microphone, provided with an interference tube in front of the capsule, which cancels a large part of its off-axis.Audio-Technica's Line and Gradient Condenser Microphones combine a directional capsule ("gradient") and an interference tube which removes the sound from the rear. Generally, the interference tube of this type of microphone can be extended to reduce the acceptance angle and thus increase the sound capture distance. Short condenser microphones do not have as long a range as shotgun models, but in some cases are preferred for their greater acceptance angle, when the accuracy of the source is less important.
- 369mm Shotgun Microphone, designed for video production and broadcast (ENG/EFP) audio acquisition
- Provides the narrow acceptance angle desirable for long-distance sound pickup
- Captures sound with high intelligibility in noisy environments with its excellent sound rejection from the sides and rear of mic
- Two power modes (battery or phantom power) for versatility
- 80Hz low-frequency roll-off, with a slope of 18dB / octave to reduce pickup of low-frequency ambient noise
- Effective protection against interference from nearby mobile phones and other unwanted radio frequencies
- Equipped with a foam windscreen, the AT8035 comes with a 1.5V AA battery, a stand clamp and a carry case
“Low-cut filter”
The low-cut position reduces sensitivity to ambient low frequency noise such as traffic noise, ventilation, reverberation of the room or mechanical vibrations transmitted through the recording device.
“two powering options”
The AT8035 shotgun microphone can be powered in two ways allowing for maximum versatility. You can use it on a professional camera or recorder equipped with XLR inputs with phantom power, or by using a 1.5V AA battery (included) on any device equipped with XLR inputs.
“high intelligibility”
Suited for both boom & handheld use, it provides the narrow acceptance angle desirable for long-distance sound pickup, featuring excellent sound rejection from the sides and rear of mic and switchable low-frequency roll-off. The AT8035 guarantees you a very specific audio capture with high intelligibility.
battery / phantom power
Two power modes (battery or 48V phantom power) for increased versatility.
low-cut FILTeR
Switchable low-cut filter for better isolation of unwanted noise.
line + gradient
The AT8035 combines a directional capsule ("gradient") and an interference tube which removes the sound from the rear.
accessories
Comes with a stand clamp, a foam windscreen, a 1.5V AA battery, two O-rings and a carrying case.
