The Silverback combines the typical coaxial properties of a point sound source, without differences in propagation times of separate paths, with the sound of a generously sized loudspeaker, in a high-quality enclosure, low in vibration. The motor is driven by a digital, DSP-controlled amplifying unit – in typical Monkey Banana style.
The Silverback enables true “full range monitoring”, without a subwoofer, at a very high SPL-level.
Offering five different presets, from linear to the simulation of club sound, the Silverback lets you know in advance, how your own mix will sound later in a club.
The unique monitor offers flexible application possibilities in the studio, for midfield monitoring and mastering. It is also very well suited to applications as a DJ-monitor, for multimedia production, gaming or for discerning HIFI- and AV-playback.
